Current Situation

Where things stand today
The Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises travel to the UAE and Qatar only when necessary — but explicitly states that transit through these airports is possible.
What this means in practice: flights from Prague to Dubai, Doha and Sharjah are operating normally and have been running again since June. Traffic has not yet returned to pre-conflict levels, however.
Our nearest retreat departs at the end of October 2026. The situation may develop between now and then — which is why we update this page regularly and give you current route recommendations before every departure.
You have a choice of several routes
Via Istanbul — Turkish Airlines
This route lies outside the area covered by the current EASA advisory. We currently recommend it as the first choice.
Via Dubai and Doha
These routes remain in operation and are often cheaper. Airlines offer accommodating conditions — a hotel for longer layovers and extended rebooking options.
Given the current EASA advisory, however, expect a higher degree of uncertainty regarding schedule changes.
We will help you choose a specific connection based on how the situation looks at the time of your booking.
Verified Air Corridors
The route to India does not pass over the areas discussed in the news. Sensitive areas are bypassed via a verified, safe corridor.
Route safety is decided by
Aviation and security authorities — including the European agency EASA
National authorities of individual countries
The airline itself, which bears full responsibility for every flight
If a corridor is risky, it is simply closed and flights are rerouted or cancelled. Nobody will “accidentally send you” through an active zone.

That is the principle air travel rests on every single day, whatever is happening in the world.
What if the situation worsens?
If the situation were to worsen to the point where travel would not be appropriate — the airline cancelled the flight or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a warning — you will not lose your money and you will not be left to deal with it alone.
We will offer a transfer to an alternative date without penalties and help you rebook your ticket with a different carrier or route.
